Lara's Journey: From Corporate Conformity to Transformative Leadership
My corporate journey was a masterclass in what happens when women disconnect from their true selves. After two decades as a Senior Director in a global corporation, I’d mastered the external markers of success. I was considered a top talent, and respected for my intelligence and capability. I even championed women’s empowerment within our male-dominated corporate network. Yet beneath the polished exterior, I intimately understood the invisible barriers women leaders face.
Outwardly successful but inwardly conflicted, I spent years playing by unwritten rules that asked me to compromise my authenticity. I watched talented women – including myself – shape-shift to fit narrow leadership molds, gradually losing connection with our most powerful selves. Despite my achievements, I was still seen as a “little girl” who should be grateful, with my introverted nature repeatedly misinterpreted as shyness.
My personal transformation emerged from a deep commitment to continuous learning and personal growth. I realized that the real work of leadership isn’t about external skills, but about deep internal transformation.
Trained as a life coach, therapist, and NLP practitioner, I discovered a different way of being, leading, and living life. This experience became my calling – one that is more fulfilling and meaningful because it allows me to help other women come in to & develop their own leadership approach.
